There’s exciting news coming out of New York- with our client Public Rec opening it’s first store in the Big Apple. A huge congratulations to Zach and his whole team for the store opening and the continued success Public Rec has seen over the past couple of years. It’s a testament to the quality of apparel that these guys produce.
In 2018 we created a brand refresh for the fledging menswear brand, updating their logo, typography, packaging and brand ethos more generally. Working very closely with Zach to work out his real motivation behind the brand, we were able to start to develop a really strong foundation for Public Rec’s growth - which hopefully is visible within their new store.
Looking at the more strategic side of things, we worked with the team on the brands purpose, which allowed us to develop their ideal customer base. Partnering with Reed Words, we worked on developing Public Rec’s values further, to finally create practical voice guidelines which included bold brand statements.
It’s amazing to see our brand work rolled out into the new store, packaging and products.
Hopefully 2020 will be just as good of a year for the team, who will launch Public Rec’s first women’s line soon.
